My husband and I hired The string trio for our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception over Labor Day weekend and it was a great decision. Douglas, who runs the business was super nice and very responsive throughout the planning process. He also plays the violin and was our contact in the trio. On the day of the wedding, the violin/cello duo showed up on time dressed professionally in black even though it was 30 degrees out! Everyone who heard them play loved the string music and walking down the aisle to Cannon in D made my day. After the wedding, we took pictures while the rest of our guests attended the cocktail reception so we didn’t get to hear the music. To make up for this the duo came back to play “All I Ask Of You” from Phantom for my husband (which is one of his favourites) before they wrapped. I played flute in high school and really wanted there to be a flute played at my wedding. Classical Sounds was able to provide a beautiful flute/violin/cello trio for our wedding last weekend at the Chateau Laurier Hotel and they were awesome! Douglas (the violinist) was such a sweetheart and responded very fast to any questions or concerns that we had. Everyone looked great and played beautifully. My wonderful experience with this company started off with just one email inquiry and within minutes Douglas responded and the in-person meeting was set. 10 stars for Classical Sounds!! Douglas is a “fast responder” to both Text and email. My wedding guests enjoyed the violin and cello combo that played during my ceremony and cocktail hour at the Westin. They have a wide variety of selection and even if I have a foreign song, they accommodated my request and learned it. I was too busy with pictorials that I wasn’t able to hear everything they played but my guests raved about them all night and have asked to be referred to them. They have competitive rates!
